See the note below from Chris Coogan, who I’ll be performing with this Sunday.
Weston Historical Society
Sunday, June 24th 5:30-7pm
Weston Historical Society is having us back again to play their barn concert series. Last year it was so much fun. We played in a historic barn where they opened the barn doors and stuck us just inside playing to folks outside on the lawn with their picnic baskets. I encourage you to come and bring something to eat and perhaps some lawn chairs and have a great time! This year I’ve added one more person, a trumpet player all the way from Philly who is coming up all the way to play with us. It will be a reunion of my “Silvermine Tavern” Quintet that has played so many gigs over the years. We’ll play a mix of standards, jazz, blues, new orleans music and originals so come and enjoy life. The Historical Society is celebrating the 60’s so we’ll loosely focus on jazz from the 60’s.
Here is from their web page..follow this link for tickets.
